About Us

The NGYW is an audition-only ensemble consisting of high school students currently enrolled in 9th - 12th grade.   The NGYW serves the Northeast Georgia Area.

Our mission is to provide an honor band experience every week to our members.   We want to provide more than what an everyday classroom can provide.

Members of our parent organization, the North Georgia Winds, will be working to provide Master Classes for our members each semester. These classes are meant to give instruction to our students in order to make them better musicians.
